I think after the Christmas rush my knitting mojo waned a bit. This GGYR (as I have dubbed the hybrid) took far longer than it should have but it is done and will be heading to my aunt in El Paso (you know, where it is about 100 degrees all year long) soon~along with a matching hat for my uncle. 
Instead of any cable work, I just did row after row after row of knitting (garter stitch).

Dont forget Tia Tere and Tio Nati are older than I and we get cold at 70 degrees
so when do you actually knit, Regina? If you leave the house for activities do you take it with you there? Or do you mainly work at night?
