Seriously, 2.5 months and I have nothing to show for it! These next two weeks (3 month mark) are buckle down time and I will, and I will lose 20 lbs. Alright, so I probably won't lose 20 pounds, but I will get on the straight and narrow. I have actually been good this week and I have started exercising-I think I worked out 4, possibly 5, days doing cardio for 30-45 minutes. I thought about starting weights too but haven't...baby steps I guess. We have decided to go see family this summer which means I now have some motivation to lose weight*. I also found out a friend from high school (my best friend) will be coming to visit in August. I haven't seen her in nearly 8 years. Luckily I will be smaller than the last time she saw me (I was 7 months pregnant with my first) but in school I was probably the smallest of my friends (thanks to non-stop running playing soccer) but during college (we went to different schools) she decided to lose weight and has kept it off. She is already thin again after having her son. So, I have until July to lose a decent amount of weight, and until August to really kill myself. Wish me luck :)

WoW Week 10
*to clarify, and not offend my family, Tug's 2 sisters and their husbands are in shape, thin (verging on skinny) assholes so my desire to lose weight prior to seeing them is due to my own insecurities, not because they say things or think I should be thinner
This week: I can't find where I wrote down what I weighted last week...I know it was a gain of 1.3 and I think I lost 1.2 of it. I did write today's weight down-on the computer so it can't be thrown away-so next week's weigh-in will be exact. Since the loss was of the gain, this week is 0.

why is my name still on there? oh, the torture! ok. this week is 2.5 less than last week, but that's not saying much! i keep gaining a losing the same few pounds.
btw, your relatives do not care how you look. do not lose the weight on our behalf. that's almost insulting! ;)
-1.5
Slow, slow, slow...I was hoping for a bigger loss...
The good news: approaching the 25lb loss mark!
i lost 1 lb. not much but still a loss. YIPPIE
I lost 2. Total since the beginning is 14 pounds, which works out to just over a pound a week. Wish it were better, since I'm very impatient.
Baby continues to make exercise extremely difficult.
I quit.
ok fine... +1.5 I'll post after dinner... Gotta eat...
I lost track... I just know that at 9 weeks and a few days I have gained a total of 5 (I think). Which is not great... I don't think. Ack, I can't remember.
All I know is that the last two pregnancies I have been in the bathroom so much that I was loosing weight. Not this time!
I don't think I can agree w/ your description, at least as it applies to this sister of Tug's. But it's good to hear someone else thinks I'm in shape . . .
We think you're perfect the way you are, and besides, we are the LAST people you need to impress. And I hope this doesn't mean you won't chow down excessively w/ us in normal Ferg fashion in July.
I just reread that--Tug's TWO sisters?? Seriously? I thought you were about keeping it real. Do not lie to your readers. I am at my largest in quit some time!
all that weight that was lost, I found. I am sure the Heavy Weight Champion of the World has nothing on me.
I am so happy the Fergusons are visiting their family this summer. We couldn't care less about how much you weigh. We just want to see all of your wonderful smiling faces. We all miss you terribly.

Ok Regina, I probably am considered verging on thin by most folks, but I have gained 10 lbs since moving to this ranch and I too have been trying to lose weight since January. This was my motto for the year, don't laugh, "I choose to be healthy thought good food, exercise, and rest". I read some motivational book and thought that this mantra would actually work. LOL. I should have skipped the good food part for it seems to have tripped me up a bit. I have gained and lost the same 2 lbs over and over and over ....maybe I can buckle down and make some progress by reading your blog.
