I admit it, I am a bad mother. I have let the girls give in to peer pressure. Once they saw their friends with them, they had to have them too.
Hopefully all future peer pressure endeavors will be as wholesome!

ADORABLE!! That's another one of those things that could almost make me want to be Catholic! ;)
cutecutecute! How funny, Trina was just asking me yesterday, "How come we don't wear veils? I sighed. How do you answer a question like that? We've never discussed it until now. I'll have to do some studying up on that subject but one thing that struck me was that even though Paul writes about women covering their heads...does GOD want us to? Hmmmm. It's a cultural thing. So now I get to explain about cultural stuff to the kids. This should be interesting.
They look very cute. LOVE IT
They looked adorable!!! So sweet!!
The girls look beautiful. Did you make those?
tammy-no, i didnt make the veils. i ordered them here: http://www.halo-works.com/category/.chapel_veils_and_latin_style_mantillas/
laura: i previously found an article that i cant find right now. i was looking for the reasons to wear one to go over them with the girls...i didnt want them just wearing them because their friends were. while this link touches on it i found that during vatican II they didnt address anything regarding veils and when the new code of canon law came out they wrote nothing about it. people assumed this meant that they no longer had to wear them but that's not true. nothing was said either way. as for paul vs God wanting us to wear them don't we believe that paul was inspired through God to say what he did in the Bible? http://catholicknight.blogspot.com/2007/12/chapel-veil-veiling-or-head-covering.html
They look BEAUTIFUL!!!! Can't wait to see you on Sunday!
Oh SORRY!! That probably didn't qualify as "Constructive Feedback!!"
