Like the corners of my mind

Jessica had this up on her blog and by leaving her a memory comment I then became tagged...do play along (even if you don't want to post it on your own blog).

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. (If you don't have a blog, or don't want to post, please comment anyway!)

12 people are laughing with me:

Uh, how about that time Bill and I ran into you at the mall, and we had that scene with hair-pulling and face-scratching and name-calling...

...tee hee. Have I confused all the people who really know you?

Since that last one was scary, lol, I will post a much more genteel picture of you...;)

Knitting in the parish nursery every month while the little ones ran around.

Ahh, so many.

The one that first popped in my mind was when Brooke cut her own hair on MY birthday (how rude!), I started crying like a mad woman, and then we realized Brooke had cut off one of L's beautiful little curls which made me chuckle. Funny.

I am also visualizing the pictures we took as we were pregnant three times together--us in all our glory.

I remember the first time I met you, I was sitting in Michelle's living room on Diablo Trail, I think all our kids were pretty darn little. I think you had brought dinner over for the two of you.....

Hum... So many great memories!!

You used the one I was planning on leaving... Of the time I said we should have you and your family over for dinner, and you said, "We could just meet at McDonalds." You didn't know what to expect, did ya? And wanted to be on the safe side... :)

Oh... The time we DID meet at McDonalds, and that man asked if we ran a daycare... Funny thing is, we have each had another baby since then!! 3 and 4 children sounds like so much less than 4 and 5!

I also remember how fun it was to meet at the track to walk (but mostly visit!) Fun times... And look I even can spell track right, thanks to all the spelling lessons you have given me!

Oh... and the time you showed up with lunch and kicked me out of my home so I could have a break since Sean had been on a fire for so long. That was the first (and only) time someone has done that for me... Thank you again!

And my last memory, is me crying like a baby as you and your family drove out our driveway to move to WA. We miss you!!!!

Oh I don't know. There are so many. Playing with you as a kid and teaming up on Christine and Stephen, you chasing me with a butcher knife, you playing soccer and watching you hydroplane across the field (it was raining), playing cards at Grandpas with Nino. Watching you graduating from high school and college, watching you get married, remembering your crazy haircuts, laughing when Mom turned your hair orange, watching you grow up. Watching your kids grow up. too many more to post. I will just leave you with LOVE YA and the memories.

Hm...wish I had some more memories...but living here in Ohio while you've lived in Texas & New Mexico & Oregon & Washington...Let's see if I can come up w/a few :) Sometime 'round summer 5th grade going to Niagara Falls with our families...you telling me when I last came to visit how you'd told one of your girls that I had red hair - but when I got there it was actually blond(ish!) ;) Watching how excited your whole family gets watching Ohio State football (and wondering why you haven't come to visit the Horseshoe! ;) Ok - there's a few for ya :D

Love ya cuz! :)
