As I said before, I couldn't find any Buckeye fabric when we went to the store a few weeks ago but I did find some plaid flannel that was basically Buckeye colors. The girls requested a nightgown so I used a pattern I already had. It is pretty heavy and {r} squealed "It's cozy!"
I am all about 'if I am making it, it should fit you for years'.
The sleeves were supposed to have elastic at the bottom making them poofy but I didn't feel like doing it. I might make a few button holes and run some ribbon through it so they aren't quite so long but {r} doesn't seem to mind. Hopefully this will be a good luck nightgown tonight!!!
