Humility

I thought I was getting pretty cool cuz I can read blogs while knitting. I have eaten a slice of humble pie. Seriously, knitting while walking and carrying some big ass basket on your back!

Show off.

Though her face doesn't really look as though she is trying to gloat. Looks more like "What do you mean you want me to stop walking to take my picture while I knit? Can't you see this big ass basket I am carrying, while walking, while knitting?!"

And check her out! I thought Boo and Sugar were just too young to have the patience for the craft. Clearly this sweet pea is younger than them. Look at the size of that needle, it is almost as big as her.

Images from Shetland Museum. I don't think I am supposed to reprint them but what are they gonna do, sue me? Have at it, I ain't got nothing.  Click through to see more amazing pictures of Shetland knitters

It's all relative. I bet they don't know how to read blogs at all! So what if she can carry that basket??? You can manage your kids, read blogs, talk on phone, and eat at the same time! Now that takes some skill!

I love that someone else is writing big ass somewhere in the Catholic blogsphere. I feel freedom of expression coming on. :-)

Thanks for the laugh!!

That was awesome! LOL... I think they are all knitting socks. I don't see them wearing any other knitting items. :)

I don't even knit, but I bet you could carry that big load and knit too. Your'e a mom of 4 kids, stay at home, teach them, feed them, bathe them...hmmm..... and who knows what else all in one day.... :)

What a hoot! Thanks for the laugh...

BTW...if we teach our 3 YO to knit, you can be sure SS will take us down for some kind of child labor law infraction...

Journey of truth: i don't write like most Catholic bloggers. lots of curse words here!

amy: i agree, must be socks...which seems even harder.

the wades: i dont manage my kids, spot on with the rest though.

shelly: been there

marci: i dont bathe them and i cant tell you what else i do do to them during the day or else SS might come

kimberly: good thought on the SS coming. i am going to get the 3 YO started RIGHT NOW.
