I used to teach 4 year olds in a very tough urban neighborhood.
I have scars on my arms from protecting angry little kids from each other, or holding a little one in the throws of a violent temper tantrum.
The wee ones can be remarkably strong--especially if clad in hiking boots--and if you had to deal with 5 of them at once, you'd find yourself in a real fight for your life, I guarantee! They are amazing imitators of behavior they see on TV, and they don't watch Care Bears.
So...congratulations on your innate abilities, I guess...but if I were you, I'd RUN!!!!! :)
i had this on my blog a few months ago. Pretty funny. I can't remember how many it said i could take though. i think I'm a little wimpier than you are though :O)
Well Shelly you have been beat!!! I can take on 19. I think that has something to do with working in a high school. I have no sympathy for children anymore. lol
{l} is our oldest girl at 10 years old. She is in 5th grade and loves to read. She also likes painting her nails and trying to be grown up. Most of all she loves gymnastics and recently made team to begin competing as a level 4 gymnast.
{r} is 8 and in 4th grade, but only because we homeschool. . . she should be in 3rd grade. She too likes to read and loves singing and dancing. She recently made the swim team and is looking forward to competing.
{j} is 5 and is (so far) the only boy--and boy is he all boy. He likes trains, cars, motorcycles and electronics. Give him a TV, a computer, the Wii or the DSI and he is happy. He is also happy in water and loves to "swim".
{s} is another girl and is 3. She is feisty but oh so cute. She likes to do "gymnastics" and practices what she calls her routine (basically flapping her arms up and down). She loves taking ballet, swim and gymnastics lessons
{c} is the current baby of the family, yet another girl. So far she's a doll!
5 people are laughing with me:
