Who the hell told you that?!? I was born and raised on Bainbridge Island, and, well, when I was super wee (age 0-6) it snowed several inches . . . it always snowed. The problem with the snow there is that it's WET and sludgy. AT least it always was when I experienced it most every year until I married a Navy boy and left at age 23. Now, the amount of snow y'all been having this winter is immense in comparison. But, really, never? Nope.
Sorry! No way. I too grew up on BI and I can remember building an igloo opne year. But I thought I told you that!!! Anyway, it usually just doesn't stick around for long, so you have that, at least.
{l} is our oldest girl at 10 years old. She is in 5th grade and loves to read. She also likes painting her nails and trying to be grown up. Most of all she loves gymnastics and recently made team to begin competing as a level 4 gymnast.
{r} is 8 and in 4th grade, but only because we homeschool. . . she should be in 3rd grade. She too likes to read and loves singing and dancing. She recently made the swim team and is looking forward to competing.
{j} is 5 and is (so far) the only boy--and boy is he all boy. He likes trains, cars, motorcycles and electronics. Give him a TV, a computer, the Wii or the DSI and he is happy. He is also happy in water and loves to "swim".
{s} is another girl and is 3. She is feisty but oh so cute. She likes to do "gymnastics" and practices what she calls her routine (basically flapping her arms up and down). She loves taking ballet, swim and gymnastics lessons
{c} is the current baby of the family, yet another girl. So far she's a doll!
5 people are laughing with me:
