Thorpe revisited

The first time I made this hat (thorpe pattern on sidebar here) I didn't do that great of a job. I was afraid of dpn's so I made it using the magic loop method which created two pretty big seams on each side. This time I am a dpn machine which means no more crappy knitting. This hat is my nephew Colin's (mom, one L or two???) Christmas present...I still need to add the tassels on the sides.

9 people are laughing with me:

I would almost learn to knit if I could make that hat. It is sooooo cute!

I'm tired of revisiting Thorpe.

Hey, have you ever thought about making these to sell? Bright colorful ones make photographers REALLY happy :)

That hat (and the baby) is adorable. A friend of Michelle Wade refereed me to your blog. I too love to knit and am not afraid of DPNs!
