Just to see him smile

This was last night. You can see the tooth cracked in half, and sitting higher than his other teeth. There is glue on the cut on his chin here too.And this one shows a little of how bruised his gum was. The doctor clearly missed a spot with the glue because he started bleeding a bit again. The ER doctor also tried to put glue on his tooth hoping to keep it together until Tug could get to an oral surgeon. Looking at his teeth would you ever guess his grandpa was an orthodontist? Just saying. This is today after the tooth was pulled. You can kind of see the dark red spot where a tooth should be.
And finally his chin again after the glue came off and the oral surgeon had to stitch him up. This is after being under general anesthesia. . . he was still a bit loopy but also was trying to look goofy.Just look at those lips. Eat your heart out Lisa Rinna. And we only have to pay $1000 for this look ($100 ER copay, $900 at the oral surgeon today which, fingers crossed, might be reimbursed by health insurance). Oh yeah, there is still the matter of getting a new tooth so maybe a bit more. I guess he could always shove a tic tac or chicklet in there. Still a steal of a deal (I am guessing) compared to collagen!

so, basically, he got the collagen AND body piercing for about $1K and he is trying to get the look GONE? Man, just think of all the money you are saving not going to a plastic surgeon, too! holy smokes...

i'm thinking a tic tac would work wonders. of course he'd have to replace every few minutes! LOL

I'm not sure I needed to see that before breakfast this morning. But now my curiosity is satisfied.

And grandpa was an orthodondist? I always thought he was a general denist. Weird. Too bad he didn't hook any of us up by way of Ohio to NM.

Put that man on the "no more holiday projects" list. A couple years ago my husband was working on a project on the Fourth and dropped a boulder on his thumb. It practically exploded under the impact, and he spent many hours in the ER. No more holiday weekend projects!
