Howdy ho

Wow, it's been a bit. We were out da town this weekend...went North to the big city. Nope, not that city, further North. Up to the big city of Seattle. We thought we would look around a bit. More details later...

We went to the space needle...Sugar's friend 'zoot' has been saying he wants to see it so Sugar really wanted to go. $50 later and I have nothing to show for it...I realized too late that I had forgotten the camera at the hotel. We then walked to Pike Market-the place famous for the fish slinging. It is over a mile I think and by the time we got there and saw the gazillions of people Tug decided it was time to leave. So back walking we went. The weather was nice, surprisingly.
Overall it was a good time.

7 people are laughing with me:

So what did the kids think? What did you think? I still really like the city. It was nice. don't like that it is such a liberal place but oh well

Glad to see you back. Seattle really *is* a nice beautiful cite - if you can get past all the *freaks*, you'll be doin' great!

Yeah the Space Needle is too expensive! The rides are much more fun at the center. Are they still there??
Pike Place is not too cool for the kids, but next time when you are walking down the pier check out the aquarium and The Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe. Definite fun for parents and kids.
There are some really cool beaches too, with parks. Hmm, I can write my sister and aske her the names of the kid friendly ones... I can't remember. But lots of cool bleached driftwood and playground type stuff!

yes, there were some odd birds--like the guy in the long velour skirt. i was walking with sugar and she turned and looked at me quizzically...i just said 'dont say anything' then she started laughing.
but overall, it wasnt as bad as i was expecting. i used to like the alternative scene...at least i tried to be ;)

you forgot your camera?????!!! i'm getting a little tired of that one. how bout putting a child in charge of reminding you to take it? why even go to the space needle if you don't have a camera? if you can't prove the memories, they didn't exist. love

oh, and thanks for posting again. i've missed you
