Tortilla

I haven't been too inspired to do blog posts lately. I really think I am going to stop doing actual posts and just start putting pictures up of the kids for family and knitting whenever I actually complete something. Don't hold your breath.

'round here:
*we always stay up late. I really need to get to bed before 1 AM. Last night it was an intriguing episode of Hoarders keeping me up. Any time you feel like you are a bad housekeeper, just watch that show. Dumb thing is we have DVR and I could just record it and watch it another time.

*I am still sick, though getting over it—I think. I usually feel relatively ok (not good, but ok) during the day, but come evening/first thing in the morning I feel completely terrible. My eyes are better (might have just been drainage, and not actual pink eye) but this cough is really kicking my butt.

*Her coaches are again talking about moving {r} back to rec gymnastics so today she starts some private lessons with her coach. If they do move her it will be at the end of the month. For those who know her, she doesn't yet know so zip it.

*Late birthday presents are fun. {j} received a package in the mail yesterday from his Grandma Juju (Tug's mom) and he thought it was completely awesome!

*What kind of morally repugnant family would help someone on the run who killed 4 police officers for no apparent reason? Disgusting!! I am glad to know they 'caught' him.

*I am glad Notre Dame fired Charlie. Maybe now I can like them again. Tug is hoping they hire Skip Holtz.

*Ohio State will play the winner of the Oregon vs Oregon State game this Thursday. We are hoping for Oregon State (since I think Oregon would beat us).

*Today is the long day at the Y. . . 1-2 girls homeschool PE; 1:15-2 {j} gymnastics; 4:15-5 girls ballet; 5-5:30 girls private gymnastics ({l} will be taking 15 minutes until ballet session ends so {r} can have a snack between ballet and gym); 5:30-7:30 {r} gymnastics. {j} also usually has a swim lesson from 5-5:30 but the Y is fixing up the pool so it is closed until January (hallelujah).

Off to grab some lunch, do a math lesson then head to the Y. Yippy!!

I keep praying that you will feel better. I don't get Hoarders, my fix comes from "Clean House".

I swear to God I'll never understand folks who bury canned goods (to just rust and rot out all over the dern place) under a bunch of more junk they'll never wear/use/sell/look at . . . It's disgusting and I get the itches watching shows like that.

I hope Buckeyes go all the way!

Oh, yeah, I was talking to my mum yesterday and she was scared with that guy on the loose. I'm glad he's dealt with, too. I don't understand murder either.

My eldest boy witnessed a girl kick the crap out of a boy today . . . talk about shock. He got some of the boys blood on him, too, when he asked if he was alright (the girl had just been restrained). Traumatic.

uninspired blog posts??

There was a LOT of content here!!

I like to see picks of your kids and your projects, but I like to read your thoughts, too... I will be sad if you don't leave some thoughts out there in the blogosphere. Boooo Hooooo.

I'm with Elm. I need my Regina fix. I'm disappointed every time I check and find no update. Don't rule it out completely. You have a funny voice we all like to hear.

I'll have to check that story. Haven't heard. Love

you inspire me.
hoarders is disturbing.
my husband thinks i hoard yarn and material.
he's kind of right.
and we've had some pink eye here too. i am wondering if it is not a component of that awful flu. and cough. which took us forever to get rid of as well.
hope you are on the mend soon!
chin up.

The best one was the one with that lady who had rotting pumkins and tons of rotting food (she had to tape her fridge shut because of all the crap she shoved in there). I loved it when they were cleaning and the guy goes "Oh, there's one there, too (pumkin)." and the lady says, "Yeah, that one's not as bad as the other one!" Uh. They were ROTTING AND OOZING ON TO HER FLOOR...IN THE HOUSE IN WHICH SHE LIVED! "not as bad" is a very relative phrase. The saddest one was the one with the family where the lady looked perfectly normal...her husband was crying in almost every interview and they (it was on the screen at the end of the show) ended up getting divorced and having their children taken away from them. She just couldn't part with all her truckloads of storage. It HAS to be a sickness. My mom and mother in law are hoarders. I think I'm an 'anti-hoarder' or whatever is the opposite. I get rid of EVERYTHING. My kids live in fear that I will judge there's just no room for THEM, one day. HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA. "Sorry, Matty, your feet are one inch too big, you'll have to go now.".

(seriously, that kid wears size 11 1/2! MAN SIZE! He's only 12! He's going to be so tall, we'll have to move to a place with vaulted ceilings.)
