Grant me O Lord a steady hand and watchful eye. That no one shall be hurt as I pass by. Thou gavest life, I pray no act of mine may take away or mar that gift of Thine. Shelter those, dear Lord, who bear me company, From the evils of fire and all calamity. Teach me to use my car for others' need; Nor miss through love of undue speed the beauty of the world; that thus I may with joy and courtesy go on my way. St. Christopher, holy patron of travellers, protect me and lead me safely to my destiny.
{l} is our oldest girl at 10 years old. She is in 5th grade and loves to read. She also likes painting her nails and trying to be grown up. Most of all she loves gymnastics and recently made team to begin competing as a level 4 gymnast.
{r} is 8 and in 4th grade, but only because we homeschool. . . she should be in 3rd grade. She too likes to read and loves singing and dancing. She recently made the swim team and is looking forward to competing.
{j} is 5 and is (so far) the only boy--and boy is he all boy. He likes trains, cars, motorcycles and electronics. Give him a TV, a computer, the Wii or the DSI and he is happy. He is also happy in water and loves to "swim".
{s} is another girl and is 3. She is feisty but oh so cute. She likes to do "gymnastics" and practices what she calls her routine (basically flapping her arms up and down). She loves taking ballet, swim and gymnastics lessons
{c} is the current baby of the family, yet another girl. So far she's a doll!
3 people are laughing with me:
Good luck on the drive and have fun in ABQ!
Grant me O Lord a steady hand and watchful eye.
That no one shall be hurt as I pass by.
Thou gavest life, I pray no act of mine may take away
or mar that gift of Thine.
Shelter those, dear Lord, who bear me company,
From the evils of fire and all calamity.
Teach me to use my car for others' need;
Nor miss through love of undue speed
the beauty of the world; that thus I may
with joy and courtesy go on my way.
St. Christopher, holy patron of travellers,
protect me and lead me safely to my destiny.
have fun.
