Down by the river

We decided to talk a walk to the river today. NO, this wasn't simply for an opportunity to blog, Daddy isn't here today so the more tired the kids are the better for me!
On our way...

There is a park near the river where people can camp. The kids had fun playing in the leaves...




We then headed down the little hill to the river where the kids threw rocks...

And some men fishing floated by...
(Boo's butt got pretty dirty sliding down the muddy hill)
We then headed back up. The girls played tag for a bit and Hammie investigated the rock flag (a bunch of rocks painted red, white, and blue laid in a flag pattern).

Sweet Pea just hung out in the stroller.

On our way back home Sugar asked if we could paint with water colors. Um, hello, we just did an activity. Doesn't she know we are limited to one per day!
